Erwin is allegedly arrested for the murder of an official and the Survey Corps were disbanded. The survey corps are persecuted by the military as they discover that the king of the country is fake and the officials do not allow technological advancement to keep the humans within the walls. After returning back to Wall Sina, they deduced that the Titans were originally humans that can regain the power of a titan shifter by eating him. The “Coordinate” allowed Eren to control titans. The “Coordinate” activated during the fight between Eren and the Titan that ate his mother. Reiner, Bertolt, and Annie were sent by an unknown party to retrieve the “Coordinate” which they believe to be within Eren. They, along with Ymir, run to escape the walls. They were exposed as the Armored Titan and Colossal Titan respectively. The report of the Wall Rose being breached turned out to be false and Eren was kidnapped by his friends, Reiner Braun and Bertolt Hoover. Ymir, a fellow cadet also turns out to be a titan, saving her friends from the other titans. All the cadets were deployed to stop them. With the appearance of the mysterious Beast Titan, multiple titans were spotted within the Wall Rose. The fight revealed titans hidden inside the walls, meaning that the walls were made of Titans themselves.
